Community Activist Larry Wainstein & North Bergen Concerned Citizens Celebrated and Gave Thanks at Schuetzen Park Friday Evening
November 24, 2014 – North Bergen, NJ — Businessman Larry Wainstein and the North Bergen Concerned Citizens hosted their annual Thanksgiving Day Celebration Friday night at Schuetzen Park. Larry Wainstein gave thanks for the progress they have made in the past year in uniting many voices in the community and challenging corruption amongst the local government.
The Gala was held in the Main Ballroom, Casino Room, and the Crystal Room at Schuetzen Park. There were over 1,800 residents in attendance. The capacity crowd enjoyed full turkey dinners, music, and dancing for several hours. Larry Wainstein stated, “I am thankful that we are now standing together, because together we are so much stronger than we could ever be standing apart. It is by standing together that we will make the changes necessary to improve our quality of life and improve the futures of our children. My wife always wanted a large family, and now we have it…all of you!” Wainstein’s words brought the energetic crowd to its feet for a hearty round of applause.
“It was an honor to be among many friends, family, and neighbors tonight. The turnout was very humbling, as many residents expressed their passion for positive change in North Bergen. I would personally like to thank all the volunteers who donated countless hours in making this event a great success. We will continue to provide free classes and social services to all and be a voice for those in need of help,” said Larry Wainstein.
